Against a backdrop of climate emergency, Agathe Simon gives a voice to non-humans (ice, plants, animals) by using generative artificial intelligence to analyze the recordings she has made in Antarctica, the Arctic, Amazonia and Africa. With so many discordant human voices (politicians, eco-activists, climate sceptics), the challenge is to finally listen to the voices of nature and question the future of our planet.

As part of the Hot Future multimedia cycle, the performance Nonhuman voices stages a dialogue between Agathe Simon and artificial intelligence. Immersed in the sounds of endangered natural spaces, the audience takes part in this exchange, which at times resembles a tennis match. Will nonhumans help us imagine a desirable future?
